Full ALUULA Airframe


The Glide A-Series uses a 100% ALUULA composite airframe, cutting weight by around 40–50% versus standard Dacron wings while massively increasing stiffness for sharper, more responsive handling.

ALUULA Ridgeback Boom


An ultra‑light, high‑pressure ALUULA boom keeps the strut incredibly stiff and narrow, boosting profile stability, control, and one‑handed drift while reducing arm fatigue on long downwinders and wave rides.

reinforced Leading Edge


The ALUULA-reinforced leading edge can be pumped to higher pressure, for a slimmer, more efficient profile that stays locked in through gusts, with anti‑flutter strips and abrasion panels supporting the canopy at key wear points.

Matrix Handle System


Removable Matrix handles let you customise your setup for freeride, surf, or freestyle, while keeping the trailing edge weight to a minimum for the best possible drifting performance.

Performance characteristics

Ultra-stiff frame for direct power transfer. The full ALUULA airframe is exceptionally rigid, which gives the wing very immediate response when you sheet in or change angle. That stiffness also helps the wing hold its shape when powered up, so the drive feels clean rather than vague. 

Light in the hands and low fatigue. Reviewers consistently describe the Glide A-Series as unusually light, with a “ghost-like” feel in the surf and very little forearm load over longer sessions. That makes it especially appealing for riders who want to stay on the water longer without the wing feeling tiring or heavy.  

Strong upwind efficiency. Because the canopy and airframe stay so stable, the wing tracks upwind efficiently with less deformation than a typical Dacron wing. In practice, that means you can hold a better angle with less effort and maintain speed more easily through lulls and gusts.

Wide usable wind range. The stiff airframe helps the wing stay composed when overpowered, while the low weight improves control when conditions are marginal. Riders and testers note that this expands the sweet spot and can reduce the need for a very large quiver. 

Easy to ride in waves. The wing’s low swing weight and passive handling make it easy to park, depower, and forget about while you focus on the face, so it is well suited to wave riders who want the wing to stay out of the way during turns and bottom turns.

Good pop and jump support. When loaded for a jump, the frame loses very little shape, so the forward drive translates cleanly into lift. That makes the wing feel energetic and precise rather than mushy on takeoff.  

Minimal flapping and clean canopy tension. Independent testing notes almost no flutter or deformation even when the wing is pushed hard, which is a big part of why it feels so efficient and controlled.
